Most of our newborn shoots are a way for parents bursting with pride, to introduce their baby to the world. There is nothing better than having a collection of photographs of your baby’s first experiences, you can cherish forever. As a mum of 5, I am well versed in babies, and also, Newborn Safety trained.
Newborn Photoshoots – The Basics
The sessions take place within the first 14 days of the baby’s life, whilst they still have their reflex and are easier to pose; we do, of course, ensure the baby’s head is supported at all times. It can take 2-4 hours to settle a baby and this takes place in our Hemel Hempstead studio. Our goal is always to get great photos, in a manner best for the newborn, so some images are composites, and we have a range of props, cushions, and techniques to make sure the whole experience is comfortable for them, whilst giving you some of the first in a long line of treasured memories.
