It's beautiful, to be a princess. It's something little girls don't need to learn and don't need to be told. All it takes is a pretty dress, a spot of glitter and they are beautiful - no matter how they look. In The Frame's Styled Sessions do just this.
Whilst it's obviously fun to dress up and be transformed, there's more than just optics making these photos magical! The outfits are props to help bring out the inner Princess, dragon slaying Knight or Fairy Queen. Without the forced grins, uncomfortable staging and structured activity, the photography session becomes lead by imagination!
Depending on the session style you like, we have a range of outfits and props to hand, but we will coordinate any session before the day so you can grab any extras you might like. Often these are studio sessions, as the controlled lighting gives a range of post production options. Occasionally we'll introduce the styled session with a lifestyle shoot, to capture some of the magic outdoors.
The youngest princesses and dragon slayers may not have the understanding and activity it takes for a styled session, but that doesn't limit the photography sessions open to their imagination. Cake Smashes are fantastic for younger children - and giving a child a cake to go crazy with will provide some imaginitive results, for sure! Very popular as first birthday memories, the Cake Smash can be tied with a splash session to cleanup after, and provide some wonderful images.
After the photography sessions, much of the magic of the photos is revealed in editing. As with our award winning Fine Arts photography, we use a range of editing techniques to replace backgrounds, add magical transformations and extra elements. It allows us to present images of art quality, starring your children as their creatives selves.
The gallery below gives you an idea of the range and style of In The Frame Styled Sessions, but it's important to note that our only limitations are imagination! Why not ask the mini star to be what they'd like to be in the shoot? Or have them choose what they'll be doing?
