As Newborn Photography is amongst the most popular services In The Frame provides, we felt it was time to give out a bit more information about the whole process. As every first time parent with a camera has established – babies don’t always want to cooperate. What’s our secret to perfect photos? 3 parts training, 2 parts experience and 1 part digital artistry!
Newborn Photography
Traditionally, it’s a photoshoot to commemorate a child’s first birthday. In many cases, it’s the child’s first real taste of sugar – which, of course, only adds to the hyper excitement of their enjoyment. They’ve been popular for children over the past 10-15 years, with some families doing them for every child as they reach their 1 year milestone.
In The Frame operates on location as well as in our studio. Situated in the “Old Town” high street in the heart of Hemel Hempstead, our studio is the ideal location for a whole range of shoots. Directly opposite parking and close links such as the M25, M1 and Hemel Hempstead train station all within 10 minutes, the studio is easy to get to. Equiped with high quality lights, backdrops, set elements and props, we’re ready for a whole host of shoots – but don’t feel limited by what we have, feel free to bring along anything you want featured in your photos.
Studio Sessions
In The Frame Photography Ltd’s principal photographer is Roisin Gregory. A mother of 5, her photography emerged from hobby to passion and continued through to career thanks to that family – and with no small amount of hard work. Roz studied photography and business courses part-time whilst raising her family, she worked with mentors and took 1-1 training with professional photographers; before taking work experience in a small local photography firm. She is now a well regarded award-winning photographer who specialises in portraiture of all kinds – capturing emotion and moments.
