One of the most beautiful things in photography is the ability to capture a family together. That snapshot of loved ones, remembered forever in that moment in spite of the speed with which they grow up!
How old is everyone in the latest family photographs? For most, family photos are something they keep meaning to update, but never seem to find the occasion or opportunity!
What’s more, finding that opportunity is only step one – you next have to consider what kind of photograph you want. Is the typically posed row against studio lights a look you want? Or, perhaps something newer and trendy such as fine arts or digitally enhanced photos? Though maybe the idea of an outside session or something less posed is best for the wall?
Family Photoshoot in Hemel Hempstead!
As ever we listen to our clients – and like to deliver a little variety. Our family sessions can be held in the In The Frame studio, based on the High Street, Hemel Hempstead, or outside, among the scenic Gadebridge Park and wonderful architecture of the Old Town.
The studio has the benefit of all-weather availability and a controlled environment. We can do a huge range of poses thanks to controlled lighting and no outside influences. We keep a wide range of props, backdrops, a few outfits and with a little chat about what you’re looking for, we can line up all your ideas ready to capture.
The lifestyle sessions have a completely different effect. The idea of lifestyle sessions is to capture the family in natural situations – on a walk through the park, playing on swings, sitting together. A few photos may be more posed, but still aiming for natural and casual.
The combined sessions give you a wonderful range of photos! Often if children are less at peace in one situation, they work better in the other – i.e. a child forcing uncomfortable grins in the studio may laugh more freely in the park, or another who isn’t focused or looking at the camera when outside, may calm a little with the structure of the studio. The sessions include a number of pictures, but you can order as many of them as you like, in a range of printed and digital formats.
