Roisin Gregory

In The Frame Photography Ltd’s principal photographer is Roisin Gregory. A mother of 5, her photography emerged from hobby, to passion and continued through to career, certainly thanks to that family – and with no small amount of hard work. Roz studied photography and business courses part time whilst raising her family. In addition, she worked with mentors and took 1-1 training with professional photographers; before taking work experience in a small local photography firm.

After a year on the job training, Roisin had the skills and qualifications to embark on a business of her own and as a result, a client list of happy customers, frequently recommending her work. Most noteworthy, she’s now firmly established as a strong photographer and a member of the Guild of Photographers. As you can see, the images In The Frame Photography Ltd produce, are such a high quality that she’s a natural choice for follow-on shoots – and consequently why a couple who come to In The Frame for their engagement shoot, would return again for their wedding photography, followed by a maternity session, celebrating with a newborn shoot, marking baby’s first birthday with a cake smash, then later comes the family shoot up to the joys of an outdoor family lifestyle shoot.

As you will no doubt notice from browsing the website, our priority in photography is above all, personality. The goal is to have a photo collection from each shoot, which represents the characters in the photos beyond their likeness. In part, this is represented in the shoot our client wants, with personal touches and styling they add. Another ingredient, as every photographer is keenly aware, is the Heisenberg Principle – the act of observing a situation, alters it; which is to say that the right photographer can influence the mood and atmosphere before the shutter is clicked. So many people are not comfortable in front of cameras, and even those who are will be aware of the photographer – so you have to ensure, the person you’re working with is friendly and approachable.
